Square D Meter Centres provide a compact and versatile metering and distribution centre for today's residential, commercial, and industrial markets. All metering stacks have factory installed meter sockets and vertical bus bars, requiring only onsite installation of circuit breakers and main bus links. All meter stacks are designed for CSA Type A "cold metering," sub-service breakers connected on the line side of the meter sockets, protecting the meter and downstream electrical equipment. This Square D Meter Centre meter stack is 1 phase, 3 wire 240VAC and has three ringed, four jaw sockets. The meter stack has a 600A rated vertical bus bar and can provide three subservices. The subservice provides 1 phase, 120/240V 200A with a 65kA short circuit current rating. QDM or QGM circuit breakers are accepted for the subservice breaker. The meter centres meet CSA standards and the box is a steel NEMA Type 1 grey baked enamel enclosure.
