Square D Meter Centres provide a compact and versatile metering and distribution centre for today's residential, commercial, and industrial markets. All metering stacks have factory installed meter sockets and vertical bus bars, requiring only onsite installation of circuit breakers and main bus links. All meter stacks are designed for CSA Type A "cold metering," sub-service breakers connected on the line side of the meter sockets, protecting the meter and downstream electrical equipment. This Square D Meter Centre meter stack is combined stack with 1 phase, 3 wire 120/240VAC main service and has five ringed, four jaw sockets. The meter stack has a 700A rated vertical bus bar and can provide five subservices. The subservice provides 1 phase, 120/240V 125A with a 22kA short circuit current rating for four sockets and 200A with a 65kA short circuit current rating for one socket. QOB or QOB-VH circuit breakers are accepted for the 125A subservice meter sockets and QDM or QGM for the 200A socket. The meter centres meet CSA standards and the box is a steel NEMA Type 1 grey baked enamel enclosure.
