Square D Meter Centres provide a compact and versatile metering and distribution centre for today's residential, commercial, and industrial markets. This Square D Meter Centre tap box is 1 phase, 3 wire 120/208VAC 600A with a 65kA short circuit current rating. The 600A rated vertical bus bar comes factory installed. Three lugs come factory installed and accept (1) 1/0 AWG to 750kcmil and (1) 1/0 AWG to 600kcmil, or (4) 1/0 AWG to 250kcmil conductors. A fourth phase can be added, using kit MCTBK600. It is a main tap box and is suitable for underground or overhead service and as a subfeed device or branch tap box. This tap box meets CSA standards and is a steel NEMA Type 1 grey baked enamel enclosure.
